The Company

Falmec produces cooker hoods and hobs characterized by a strong added value in terms of innovation, design and technical excellence. From the initial design to the final product, all Falmec creations are born of a multiphase process. This process takes place entirely in Italy at the Vittorio Veneto plant, where the company was established in 1981, and therefore within that area called Inox Valley. As a small craft company, Falmec has grown to be a leading player in the Italian and international market today, so much so that the people who work at Falmec are 170.

The Challenge

Falmec has always been characterized by cutting-edge research, development of new technologies, flexibility and creativity. For this reason, Falmec decided ten years that planning could not be coordinated by management alone and started looking for a specific tool. The use of the mere ERP made the planning particularly difficult and complex, while Falmec had the need to have forecasts about the production and delivery of the products. Beyond that the product range grew more and more, together with the company growth.

The solution

Falmec carried out a software selection and later the implementation took place in a linear manner.

CyberPlan today allows Falmec to better manage the aforementioned production complexity. Although domestic cooker hoods and hobs are not products with particularly high complexity in terms of components, in fact, the determination of Falmec to best satisfy the market makes the production more special than one might expect . The production plan that is made in CyberPlan is used for different purposes by the departments: production planning, production, sales, purchases and finally by management.

Results

Falmec reveals that CyberPlan makes available a series of extremely useful information to the management of production and this thanks to the speed of calculation and intuitive graphics.
